Can get on projects that last from 3 weeks to 3 months, find a solution and then move on. A person with a developer mindset They aren't doing work from scratch. The will implement a solution with tools that are already developed. Example of project: Data migration - Have to figure out what data needs to be migrated, match against internal tools and process to use. Sit with customer, explain how the tools are used and then migrate the data. Lots of hand holding.. Required skills: -RDBMS - Strong DDL/DML Skills, Strong SQL Programming Skills, Strong ORACLE & SQL Server Skills -3+ years of ORACLE, SQL Server and PL/SQL, T-SQL Programming Experience, Microsoft DTS (DTS is a nice to have) -Nice to have: Experience with Data Migration, Data Imports, Data Extraction Programming – Strong Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets Skills 3+ years of Java / J2EE programming Non-Technical: Strong communication skills, Strong Integration / Debugging Skills, Self-Starter Necessary but not Critical: JBoss/Tomcat, Crystal Reporting / General Report Development, System Integration Toolsets Nice to Haves: Saba / SumTotal / LMS (Learning Management Systems) Experience, Pentaho Experience, MySQL Experience   Compensation and Benefits   The 401k plan is part of our HR outsourcing. It follows all standard 401k plan provisions. It is administered by Administaff Retirement Services (ARS).
